The team at Integrated Consultants Inc. (ICI) welcomes Brian Hill as their Chief Strategy Officer. Hill is a seasoned engineer with over 22 years in the military sector and brings an unparalleled and proven track record of turning requirements into working solutions that have a tangible impact on Navy warfighting capabilities.
“Brian is the final piece of the puzzle that will ensure ICI is ready to succeed in taking on any project that comes our way,” said Dave Aberizk, President and Founder of ICI. “Having his expertise on the team amplifies ICI’s already strong ability to deliver on a vast range of military grade engineering projects.”
In his most recent role, Hill was a systems engineer supporting PMA-272’s program to upgrade the AN/ALE-47 Programmer that controls the chaff and flare for various aircraft. In this role, he was able to reimagine the communications design for optimal efficiency, an innovative solution that is on track to be patented in the upcoming months.
“Ensuring that the warfighter has all the right tools to guarantee their success on the battlefield has always been my motivation,” Hill said. “The ICI team exemplifies this value and I’m blessed for this opportunity to work with them.”
Previously, Hill spent 22 years working on various Navy projects at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) with a focus on research and development. Over the course of his career, Hill has been awarded the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) Engineer of the Year, and the Program Executive Office (PEO) Excellence Award, among others. His efforts have consistently delivered better than anticipated results in support of Navy fighters and identified unique, cost-effective solutions to fleet-identified gaps.
For example, in 2019 he led an initiative to prototype and field-test a hardware and software capability as a potential upgrade to the MH-60R. Due in large part to his visionary leadership, the team was able to deliver the project in less than one-third of the time they had originally allocated to the project. In 2017, his integration of off the shelf sensors with the already available and mature Department of Energy Raptor program allowed his team to demonstrate a cost effective solution to identify a variety of maritime threats as small as periscopes and integrate visibility with other existing sensors.
Hill holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in Malibu, California. In his free time he enjoys a variety of hobbies including tinkering with amateur radio.
