Integrated Consultants partners with ARINC in the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program

October 2, 2003

Integrated Consultants is pleased to announce that ARINC, Inc, and Integrated Consultants, both of San Diego, California, has received approval of their Mentor-Protégé agreement by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU). This action by OSD enters the companies into the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program.

The agreement was submitted through the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), SADBU office in San Diego, California and endorsed by the Department of the Navy SADBU office. SPAWAR's Small Business Program leads the Navy in their support to small businesses. The agreement will be funded by OSD SADBU under ARINC's Navigation Development Contract with SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego.

ARINC, a world leader in navigation and communication systems engineering, has developed a program to grow Integrated Consultants into a valued supplier to the Navy by emphasizing the use of commercial equipment in military systems.

Integrated Consultants is a woman-owned business that maintains a certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) office. The emerging small business specializes in the applied mechanics of rugged prototype apparatus and forensic engineering services.

"We are grateful for the comprehensive mentoring program developed by ARINC and the honored to have received program approval from the OSD departments involved in the Mentor-Protégé Program selection process."
