In 1929, ARINC was founded to be the single licensee for aeronautical radio frequencies and to provide reliable and efficient communications for the aviation industry—critical responsibilities that we continue to hold. Today, ARINC owns and operates the largest and most reliable private data and voice network in the world with over 1000 connections, on 8000 aircraft in a typical day, and 20 million air/ground messages each month. ARINC, a $600+ million company with a corporate heritage of serving government and industry customers, employs nearly 3,000 people at over 50 operating locations worldwide, and is owned by United States and international airlines and aircraft operators.

ARINC Engineering Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ARINC Incorporated, has more than 40 years of experience developing and delivering systems engineering, systems integration, and software development solutions that improve communications, navigation, satellite, avionics, and other advanced technology systems used by government and industry.

ARINC offers a full spectrum of systems engineering, integration, and installation services in the areas of communications, navigation, information, space and atmospheric weather, and aircraft systems—for both commercial and government applications. We specialize in customizing commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software to meet your particular requirements. We can also provide turnkey, cradle-to-grave services for your project: as system integrator, we perform everything from requirements analysis, systems/architecture design, software and hardware design, and systems integration, to testing, fielding (installation), operator and maintenance training, and follow-on maintenance.

ARINC has a proven track record upgrading many types of existing commercial and military communications, navigation, information, and weather systems to incorporate new technology and requirements, or extend life expectancy. These projects typically include replacement and/or re-engineering of hardware and software—from design and fabrication, to integration, test, and installation. Using reverse engineering techniques, we can recreate just about any type of obsolete part or component. Typically, the new hardware will have the same form factor, in order to fit existing racks, enclosures, and cable connections.

ARINC's systems engineering services apply advanced methodologies to solve an array of complex management and technical challenges for military and industrial organizations. We begin by collecting the appropriate resources for the job, including a well-informed staff. Our trained, professional staff uses a structured, repeatable methodology to carefully analyze all areas that can potentially affect the solution, including people, processes, and technology. Our quality assurance is rock-solid—we're an ISO 9001-registered corporation. We partner with the DoD, other government agencies, and private companies to include their relevant skills and knowledge, and we bring in whatever subject matter experts are needed to complement our engineering capabilities, enabling us to deliver a total solution. The consistent result: an effective, innovative, cost-effective solution, delivered on time.

ARINC’s background as a leader in both systems engineering and integration allow us to provide Navy customers what no other team can — world class technical solutions within a pragmatic and proven system engineering discipline. ARINC solutions are focused on working not just in the laboratory but in the real world of the U.S. Navy. We understand that to be implemented successfully in system acquisitions or Naval operations, engineering solutions must not be merely technically sound but also must support the mission objectives, development cycle, and operational profile. Our team of engineering services personnel looks forward in providing this support.
